Welcome to Pawtrait Heroes: The [official] Blog!
Pawtrait Heroes is my art studio that produces custom digital illustrations of your pet dressed up like people. Some examples of my past work include:
- Piper the Jack Russell terrier as a flying superhero
- Kunta the long-hair cat as a barbarian
- Ziggy the tabby cat as a Maccaroni dandy
- Bertrand the flame-point Siamese cat as a granny with a shotgun
- Merida the buff-point Siamese cat as a "Cat-chella" festival goer
- Pepper the Shih Tzu as a gunslinger
- Fuzz a special needs terrier in a penguin costume
- Willow the Savannah cat as a turn-of-the-century driver [of an electric scooter]

While I am focused on pet illustrations, and plan on discussing this in this blog, I always have a few different drawing projects in progress in various styles. I experiment a lot and draw to learn different techniques. Let's talk about all the things I'm learning how to do!
